Hosted by Old Pocklingtonian Association President Charlie Lambert (01–08) alongside Pocklington School Head, Becky Lovelock, the evening brought together over 25 OPs from Newcastle and Durham. They were joined by Association committee members Trevor Loten (70–80) and Steven Kyffin (70–77), as well as the School’s new Marketing, Admissions & Communications Director, Angela White, and OP Liaison Officer, Rachel Dare.
Guests enjoyed drinks, pizza slices, and the chance to catch up with familiar faces. For many, it was their first opportunity to meet Becky Lovelock since she joined the School in September.
OP Liaison Officer, Rachel Dare, said: “Newcastle remains a popular university destination for many of our students when they leave Pocklington, so it was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout.”
The support for the event reinforced the strength of the OP community and the Association looks forward to continuing this with more regional gatherings in the future.
