Pocklington School recently welcomed OP Gina Stringer (00-07), the Founder of Stand Tall PR & Communications, a Yorkshire-based agency, to speak to students at a Sixth Form assembly as part of the Pock Connects programme. Gina shared her inspiring career journey since leaving school, offering valuable insights and advice to the students.
Gina explained how aiming high, staying curious, working hard, and enjoying the journey were fundamental to success in her experience. She highlighted the importance of making connections and building a network, and shared how she leveraged the Pock Connects network to support her own career progression.
The students were keen to hear Gina's story and asked some excellent questions during the Q&A session at the end of her talk. Her visit was a great success, leaving a lasting impression on the students and encouraging them to pursue their ambitions with passion and determination.
