OPs at Snake Lane 10-miler - Run and Social Drinks - OP runners and spectators welcome!
The 34th running of the Snake Lane 10-mile road race
Sunday 22 February 2026, 9.00am start, Pocklington
OPs be will at Pocklington’s Snake Lane 10-mile road race on Sunday 22 February 2026, and we would love to see you there!
As in previous years, we will have a team of OPs running in the race itself followed by a gathering in The Feathers afterwards for drinks (and butties for the runners!).
OPs are welcome to sign up to run with the OP team, or just come along to support and join us afterwards for a drink.
All abilities are welcome to take part, you do not have to be an elite runner to join the team, it's about taking part, challenging yourself and having fun. There is a generous race cut-off time of 2.5 hours, plenty of pacers to support you round the course, and the event takes place on closed roads.
For those who haven’t done Snake Lane before, it is a super friendly and supportive event, a beautiful course out to Bishop Wilton and ‘snaking’ back into Pocklington, a great atmosphere in the town centre for the finish, and if you start now, you will have plenty of time to train! For a flavour of what it’s all about click here to read last year’s OP Snake Lane report.
If you would like to run, please sign up and select ticket type ‘runner’ by Tuesday 7 October at the latest. We will send you more information about how to secure your spot on the team and organise an OP branded running top for you to run in.
If you would like to watch and then join us for a drink afterwards, please select ticket type ‘spectator’.
If you need any further information, please get in touch with the OP office.
Looking forward to a great day of running!
Race starts at 9.00am
Drinks from 10.15am at The Feathers
