The Old Pocklingtonian Association is delighted to be hosting its annual OP Summer Reunion at Pocklington School on Sunday 23 June 2024. This nostalgic day offers a host of activities including School tours, archive visits, a two course lunch and afternoon tea, along with the OP v School 1st XI cricket match, and the Edmund Loten Inspire mixed doubles tennis tournament. It is the perfect opportunity to revisit Pocklington School for a trip down memory lane.
Booking for the event is now open and we recommend contacting your old schoolmates to plan a lunch reunion in the dining hall where seats can be reserved for you. We would particularly encourage this if 2024 marks a significant leaving year anniversary for you - those who left in 1964, 1974, 1984, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2014. Let us know if you need any help reconnecting with people.
OPs are welcome to bring their partners and children/grandchildren to make it a day full of family fun, or you can just pop by for a brief afternoon visit. We are always delighted to see you!
Lunch is £15.00 per person (£7.50 per person for under 8s) and you can book as a small group, couple or individual by clicking the 'book now' button.
OP Cricket and Edmund-Loten Inspire mixed doubles tennis tournament
If any OPs would like to play cricket for the OP team, or if you would like to take part in the 'fun' Edmund-Loten Inspire mixed doubles tennis tournament which is open to the wider Pocklington School community, including current and former parents and staff, please sign up by clicking on the 'Book Now' button above and selecting the appropriate ticket type, or contact Rachel in the OP Office.
Friends of Pocklington School Pock Fest event
The Friends of Pocklington School will once again be hosting their Pock Fest event from 2.00pm-6.00pm, to run alongside the OP Summer Reunion on the same day. This will add an extra dimension of fun and celebration to the Summer Reunion and, as Pock Fest is a whole School community event, it will be open to pupils, parents and staff as well as OPs and their families. New activities for this year include a mega slide, bucking bronco, food and craft marquee as well as the old favourites such as tombola, raffle and coconut shy. With live music and for younger children, a bouncy castle and face painting, it is sure to be a fun afternoon for the whole family.
