The lunch event is full. If you require lunch, please contact email@example.com. Thank you.
The Old Pocklingtonian Association will once again be hosting its annual OP Summer Reunion at Pocklington School on Sunday 2 July 2023. With school tours, archive visits, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as cricket and tennis matches on offer, it is the perfect excuse to return to school for a trip down memory lane.
Booking for the event is now open and we encourage you to get in touch with your old school friends to arrange lunch together in the dining hall especially if you have a significant leaving year anniversary in 2023 (1963, 1971, 1973, 1983, 1998, 2003, 2013 leavers take note!). We can reserve tables for you and if you need any help contacting your contemporaries, please do not hesitate to contact Rachel in the OP Office who would be happy to help.
OPs are welcome to bring their spouses and children/grandchildren along and make it a family day out or just pop in for a quick visit during the afternoon. We would love to see you!
Lunch is £13.50 per person (£5.00 per person for under 8s) and you can book as a small group, couple or individual.
If any OPs would like to play cricket for the OP team or if you would like to take part in the 'fun' Edmund/Loten Inspire mixed doubles tennis tournament which is open to the wider Pocklington School community, including current and former parents and staff, please sign up by clicking on the 'Book Now' button above and selecting the appropriate ticket type, or contact Rachel in the OP Office.
Update - FoPS Pocklington Festival added to OP Summer Reunion!
An exciting development for the Summer Reunion this year is the addition of the Pocklington Festival. Organised by the Friends of Pocklington School and open to the whole school community, there will be inflatables, tombola, face painting, coconut shy, activity and craft stalls, as well as live music, so it is sure to be a fun afternoon for the whole family. All our traditional OP activities such as the reunion lunch in the dining hall, school tours, archive visits, cricket and tennis, will be running as normal alongside the Festival so there will be something for everyone. OPs attending the Summer Reunion lunch can gain free access to the Festival although you will need to wear your wrist band which you can collect from Rachel or Leanne at the event registration desk in the Dining Hall (collect on arrival or before 2.00pm when the Festival starts). (Non-OP guests or family members will need a ticket to access the Festival - see below).
For OPs and their families who are coming for a tour or a wander around the school fields to watch the cricket or tennis, but who are not having lunch, access to the Festival will be by ticket only as below:
Early Bird tickets available until 31st May: £8.00 per person to include x 5 activity tokens plus a drink voucher (non-alcoholic for U18s!)
