Pete Edwards, who recently retired as Head of Art, will showcase his recent work in an exhibition at Pocklington Arts Centre. The exhibition, Walk on the Wildlife, runs from 11 November 2014 to 9 January 2015 and reflects his interest in wildlife art. Pieces include relief prints, sculpture and painting. Images take two forms, the first interpretations of animals and birds he has observed; the second a more thought provoking look at animals and their changing environment.
Pete said “In the past year, I have built a studio and I have commenced a variety of art projects using different techniques. Teaching gave me the opportunity to explore many avenues on the subject, and retirement has given me the time to explore these in greater detail. I would love to see my old students and colleagues at the exhibition and welcome any feedback by email on email@example.com”
