Sunday 24 June 2012, 11am onwards at Pocklington School (including OP cricket and tennis)
Although the cricket had to be called off due to standing water on the cricket square, many cricketers still came along to soak up the atmosphere and get together with friends. The dining hall was buzzing with over 100 OPs and their guests as well as current and former staff. Amongst the diners were a group of 1982 leavers celebrating their 30 year reunion and a contingent of 1992 leavers celebrating their 20 year reunion. The ‘oldest’ OP was Andrew Dunning who left school in 1943 and the youngest was James Reckitt who only left school a few weeks ago!
After lunch, whilst some went on a school tour or went for a family swim in the school pool, the OP tennis players took on the school resulting in a 6-6 draw. A great day was had by all despite the lack of cricket this year and we hope that many more OPs will want to come to next year’s Summer Reunion which will take place on Sunday 23 June 2013 so please make a note in your diary and see you there!
