Saturday 21 April 2012, 7.00pm for 7.30pm at The Randolph Hotel, Oxford
To work up an appetite before dinner, a number of OPs accepted The Very Reverend Bob Wilkes’ (1957-1966) invitation to ascend the Saxon Tower at his chuch, St Michael at the North Gate. The Tower is one of the oldest buildings in the city and OPs enjoyed magnificent views of the famous Oxford spires before working their way back down and round the corner to The Randolph for dinner. After a drinks reception OPs were treated to a 5* dinner in the St John’s Suite. OP President, Tom Nash (1968-1977) made a toast to the school and the Headmaster responded with a few words about school developments, plans for the Quincentenary and a report on his recent trip to Hing kong where he met with several OPs as well as aprents and current pupils. The evening continued in the bar with many OPs staying on to catch up with each other.
