Following the recent AGM, the OP Association is pleased to announce that Andrew Wilson (89-99) has been newly elected as President of the OP Association.
Andrew was officially announced as OP President by outgoing President (now ex officio) Tom Nash (68-77) at the London dinner at Haberdashers’ Hall on Friday 21 November 2014. Andrew gave his first formal speech as OP President to over 270 dinner guests. He then thanked Tom for all his hard work and commitment during his two terms as OP President and presented him with a gift on behalf of the Old Pocklingtonian Association by way of recognition.
He said “I am very proud to become President of the Old Pocklingtonian Association and I hope to build on Tom’s good work over the last few years.”
Andrew is a strong supporter of the school and the Old Pocklingtonian Association, having served on the OP committee as Vice-President since June 2009. He works as a Barrister with Sovereign Chambers in Leeds. He lives in Bubwith with his wife, Lucy, and their six-month old son, Alfie.
