Earlier this year she became Romania’s first ever female solo pianist to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, with the Royal Philharmonic. The performance was front-page news in her native country. She is described as a natural communicator who talks audiences through her music with, in the words of the Royal Philharmonic’s executive director Rosemary Johnson, “endearing wit and enthusiasm”.
Why not see for yourself and book your place at the OP London dinner at the Lansdowne Club on 22 November 2013 where Alex will be giving an exclusive performance to OPs.
If you can’t attend the London dinner Alex will also be making debuts this season with the Halle Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia and KZN Symphony in Durban. For full details of her concert schedule visit Alexandra’s website or follow her on Twitter @alexdariescu.
